Basically, I put the <script> code in the header.php file in the <head> tag.  (though I read it should go right before the <body> tag, so that would leave it floating around a bit.  I'll try that later ...

Then, to get it to work, I had to add hellobar.js to the exceptions in my wp-minify plugin.  I guess it was getting minified!

I don't have hard numbers to back it up, but everything I've tried setting it to has seen an increase.  Right now, it's linking to twitter.  I had it pointing to my rss feed for a while.
