I would probably open a support ticket with your hosting provider as well.  They should be able to do some checking to see if anything is showing wrong on their end that either they can fix or point you to fix yourself.

Thanks MB. I have touched based with the host, and it wanted me to first turn on the error logging since the 500 error is so general. Once I get something more concrete, I'll follow up on your suggestion.

Hmmm...That sounds like a pain.  I am not seeing a 500 when I go to your site.  If you need to find the error log, you can get it by logging in to your host. If they use cPanel, then there is a spot in there to look over the error log.  Another way is by using FTP and going into your public_html folder or www folder depending on your host.  It should just be sitting in there.

I get this about every other time I navigate pages in Wordpress (using Firefox, as always), and once I got it while looking at my site with Safari.

Is anyone else getting similar? Could someone suggest a rational way to go about diagnosing this? Is this likely an issue with my host? Where would I find the "server error log"?
