Google adwords keyword tools is my go to and for keywords terms. If you're looking for immediate topics/keywords that people are searching for on Google now, try Google Insights. You can break down the most recent searched topics by country, time and topic category. It's a great start when you're stumped on a post topic and want immediate search visitors. Plus you can check if those topics have annual trends and plan for them in the future.

I know the big bloggers raved about it, but personally I never found it very useful. There were so few keywords without significant competition it seemed almost pointless to bother even checking. I acutally refunded it a while back before they ran into the Google issues.

I used it a lot when it first came out. I had purchased the full version while doing the 30-Day Challenge. It was OK, but it wasn't really anything Earth shattering. The engineers had to constantly upgrade the software to keep up with Google. It used to have a cost feature that would give you that value of each keyword. But the values were changing so much so quickly, that they had to scrap that feature. Now, it appears that nobody is talking about MS. As for me, it's right back to Google Adwords, which has been working for me all along.

I've never used it myself but have heard of it. I have been trying to find something to use for keywords as to help my SEO standings. Honestly, I'm not totally sure how to use "keywords" for titles for my blog. When I type in the key words, it gives me a list, which dosen't tell me much besides how many people are searching for it. Should I try for a more specific key word, or use one that has the highest amount of searches? Thanks for the help.

P.s. if my signature doesn't show up below, please let me know (pm) so that I can fix it thanks.

I used it all the time when I was researching niche sites like crazy, now I mainly use the rank tracker. They have implemented fixes to counter some of the recent Google changes (which shut down scroogle and even hurt most browser SEO plugins). I think it is still worth it because it combines a lot of different tasks and saves time.

They offer a free trial, so you can use it first before making a purchase (it is actually cheaper to do the trial first as you get a discount). Of course, I have an affiliate link (feel free to ignore): http://knsfinancial.com/go/mar.....etsamurai/
