Thanks for all the help! Quick question. When I use google keywords to find keywords to insert into the seo fields, do I want to choose a keyword with a lot of competition or no? Also, it makes sense to choose a keyword with the most searches, correct?

I normally look for keywords with lots of searches and low competition. Double wham :)

Hey Crystal,  Would you mind expanding on what Scribe SEO is used for, whether it's worth it or not, and throw in your affiliate link as well if you have one ?  I've heard good things, but don't know much of the specifics...I just know that my keyword selection is not up to spec and want to do what I can to make it better. Suba hit the description spot on.  I do think it's worth the monthly fee, but remember to ask for a discount (if you ask nicely, they will help).  I use the Scribe Keyword Analyzer to help me out there and then use the main Scribe Analysis to rate how well I did with SEO in my posts.  I am scoring 90% and better normally now as opposed to starting out at 52% and working my way up, lol.

Geoff, Scribe is useful mainly as a checklist. It has certain good practice when it comes to SEO like whether your keyword is in the title, description, early in the post, enough # of links and finally keyword density (whether it is too low, too high). The first 3 things are easy, the last 2 takes some practice, esp. the keyword density. You will automatically start doing it after a couple of months, but it is very useful for those initial months to write like you normally do and still have an SE optimized post. That is what I use it for anyway, Crystal will be able to add her opinion...

Hey Suba, did you have to write Scribe with a plan of how you will market the software? I tried to become an affiliate a while ago, and they denied my application. Then they asked me for a detailed marketing plan.

I use atahualpa, but I don't have the seo option turned on. Do you suggest I turn it on? I've had enough success without any seo additions, so I'm hesitant to make the switch.

I too use atahualpa but I started early w/ All in One Seo so I use that instead with all the options turned off / ignored in the ATA Panel.
