It recently came to my attention that there were a lot of people coming to my site and reaching a 404 page. It could be because of a broken link on someone else's site, because I changed my hyperlink structure, or changed a slug of a specific page with redirecting the old one. So basically there were a lot of links to my site that were all broken. People were visiting my site without getting actual content, which sucks.

I installed the TentBlogger plugin, it shows what page on your site users are visiting when they get a 404 error. Some of it is useless and like the result of a crawler, but there's plenty of useful info there. Within a day, I had at least 10 pages that weren't active but people were visiting anyway. A simple redirect helped push these people back to the page that they were actually interested in.

I highly encourage everyone to do take a look, it helped me a lot, my traffic increased a little, and it created a better user experience for my site (and a few free links to specific pages never hurts).

Has anyone else tried this plugin or something similar?
