I haven't had any issues with either of the groups I've participated in - nor have I received increases in spam, etc. That's odd. Are they comments or emails that are spam? Comments you can filter.

I have had a lot of spam, but I do not blame the team for that. I think it is the nature of the internet.

sorry to hear that.

I'min the same group as Dee and hve not had such a problem. Quite the oposite, it's been a woderful opportunity to get to know other blogs and bloggers.

I'm doing fall teams and I haven't had that problem at all. I'm not on your team though. Are you getting extra spammy comments on your site, or spam in your email?

Sadly it seems someone on this list must have sold us out because I have been getting nothing but spam now and I often see that the other recipients are the same as the other people in this group. In fact, there are some members in this group that have sent me some questionable emails as well. For this reason you can remove me from the group. I will no longer participate. I will still visit the awesome blogs I have found through this list but I think it was pretty low to use this group in that way and join the group under false pretenses.

I don't envision any strict rules here, just working to help each other out.

Let's make the sign up deadline Tuesday, September 23. This should give everyone plenty of time to participate. At that point, I'll randomly assign blogs to teams. Number of blogs per team will depend on how many sign ups we have, and what makes sense.
