Yes and No. Social Media does not lead to google clicks.  You can get 10,000 page views a day and if 9,900 are from SU or Twitter it is likely that you aren't really going to make all that much that day which is the reason I made my earlier comment.

Agreed.  We starting to get good SE hits - at the 8 month mark.  Still low compared to older sites but it took a long time to get great SE results and subsequent better adsense.

One of the staff writing payment models is precisely what you are doing here.  A portion or all of the adsense.  Perhaps the "gig" is not a permanent staff writing position but the model is the same aside from the regularity of posting.
