It's very accurate and will get rid of all that stuff with no action on your part. I usually set it to send the items to the trash, then I review the trash before emptying just to be sure there weren't any false positives. So far I've never had it delete one it shouldn't have.

That's exactly what I have done using the Hide Trackbacks plugin. You still see them in your dashboard and get an email about them, but they don't appear on your website.

When a website doesn't moderate comments, they tend to fill up with spammy links and Google does not like that.

This morning I have two more that look spammy, but they say they're from news.google.com. When I click through the link, that's exactly where it brings me, but I can't see any mention of my site anywhere. Does anyone know what this is? My guess is it's just a deceptive way for the typical spammers to try and get a link, but wanted to make sure.
