The guy I use charges $85 an hour and is very reputable. I have tried the fiverr route for small things that I needed done, but I would balk personally at using them for help with my Wordpress back end. I want someone I know, trust, and can call on the phone if things go bad. Sometimes it is simply worth the money you spend to get it done right and fast.

According to what you need done, you may find what you need done through here... and that may save you some money while knowing that the person doing your work will be honest and good with communication. (i.e. Andrea does a lot and I know I'm not the only Logo Guy here..)

If you choose to use fiverr..... a.) don't be in a hurry b.) ASK QUESTIONS and possibly speak with them on skype chat before purchasing gig. I have found that this is the best and most reliable way of getting things done. If you pay and are not satisfied with their work, you can always cancel the payment or request a mutual separation.

My consulting rate is typically $50 an hour, so I'd say that's a pretty good deal. :)

I think Fiverr can be very sketchy at times... You just never know if you're going to get someone who knows what they're doing.

I need some formatting done on my Wordpress blog and I found someone who charges $45 for 30 minutes. He said it's going to take him an hour, but he'll only charge me $35 since I used him before. Is that a reasonable price?

I've used people on Fiverr and have had success with one person, but he took too long to respond when I needed his services again. I find Fiverr could be hit and miss.

Any advice?
