Good idea pointing this out! I often will just copy/paste a link and I'll realize several days later that it won't work.

Good point Jeff - and beyond that, the SEO benefits are better if you use actual anchor text instead of just posting the link.

Just thought I would mention this since I still see people doing this, but if you just copy and paste a URL in these forums, the link ends up broken. That means we can't go check out your post with ease and for us lazy ones (raising my hand sheepishly) we won't check it out.

So.....don't do this:

Instead, do this: Avoid the Biggest Mistakes in Retirement

or this:
