I wouldn't worry about it too much. Akismet has gone into overdrive, 95% of comments go to spam on FS and I continuously moderate. Others will and do too.

Just an update in case anyone has this issue in the future. I did some testing and narrowed the issue down to the URL I place in the website section of comments. When I left this blank, my comment went through. When I placed my blog URL in there, the comment went to spam.

I contacted Askimet telling them of my issue. They replied back quickly and told me some bloggers saw my comments as spam and as such my site was blacklisted. They did clear my site though and I am back in business. But they did tell me they will only do it this one time. The tone of the email was curt too. I guess they get cantankerous when dealing with spammers pleading their case 90% of the time.

Anyways, I am glad the issue is resolved, but I am concerned going forward. I feel that my comments add to the conversation, I'm just wondering if there is more to the story than Askimet is letting on. Hope this helps anyone else in a similar spot.

Hey Everyone,

I have an issue that is really start to get annoying. A few weeks ago, my router reached it's end of life. I went and bought a new one and everything was great - or so I thought. It turns out my new router has given me a new IP address as well. When I comment on other pf blogs, my comments tend to go right to the spam folder.

The odd thing is, I've emailed the site owner when this has happened and they rescue my comment. Going forward, my future comments have avoided spam and appeared. But, there are some blogs that approve my comment and then the next one I make, goes right back to the spam folder.

Does anyone know of a way to stop this from happening. I am spending a good amount of time emailing site owners to save my comment. Sometimes, their spam folder gets cleared before they can save it and my time (and theirs) is wasted. I don't want to be a pain and email them all of the time and I want to feel confident that when I spend the time to comment, it will show up and not go to spam. Any help would be appreciated (and thanks again to those of you reading this that have saved my comments!!)
