I haven't logged on since September due to family illnesses, hospitalizations, sewer backups, and other aspects of life. Unfortunately, 2012 left off with a bang. I trust nothing serious has befallen you. 

I'm looking forward to reengaging with old friends and developing new relationships. As a result, I'm sharing 4 simple blogging resolutions for 2013 and to encourage you to set some goals of your own.

1. Engage through Social Media - My friends know how challenging this is for me at times... but I love Twitter, so I'll use that as my primary focus and develop a Facebook page, etc. later in the year.

2. Add one value added feature to my site (investinthemarkets) each month. This may be an automated email system or something else.

3. Develop one significant online Yakezie relationship each month - I developed several friends last year and a few close friends. Now, I want to commit to engaging meaningfully with 12 people by year's end. This relationship will be more than a surface comment or visit to another's site... and I'll attempt to selflessly serve the person. Do you want to be my first?

4. Develop a new website: Stocks4Beginners - I realized most people are interested in making money through investing, but they simply don't know how to get started, what all the terminology means, and want a simple, step by step approach to investing in stocks. So, I decided to create an online guide for beginners. Now I have to develop it (with your input) this year.
