Hi all - I don't know if this is going to be a stupid question or not, so I am just going to give it a try.

I was contacted by a rep from NewsTex this morning and they describe themselves as a site that syndicates content...mainly from news sites and the like and they want to syndicate my posts. The email was professional and the guy seemed to know what he was talking about. He said that I would receive a royalty for anyone who chooses to subscribe to view my content. I did a little bit of research on them and some good stuff, but some not so good.

My questions are has anyone been contacted by them or know anything about them? Beyond that, does anyone know that if I did agree to something like this how would it look from an SEO perspective and would I risk them outranking me in search? I am concerned about that and the potential to keeping people from coming to my site. I am leaning strongly towards saying no to the guy but just thought I would check and see if anyone else has had an experience with something like this.

Thanks!
