I agree with Barb. I don't understand why Aloysa had to pull down the site. You can always come back and start posting after a break. I too felt her blog was unique, even the name was catchy! But then I shouldn't be judging without knowing what Aloysa's circumstances were.

I hope she does well in whatever her endevour is.

This thread really made me think, and I echo all the previous comments. I believe each one of us will go through challenges and time constraints over our lives. After all of the work a blog takes, it certainly is important not to look at it a a grudge, but as a fun (money making?) hobby. I would also like to give Aloysa a shout out as well. I thought her site was really cute and her theme clever. I hope she kept it somewhere and can reignite it some time. There 's no rule that one has to be the "perfect" blogger all the time.

We all need a break once in a while.

Very sad news. Aloysa was not only one of my favourite bloggers, her support of our fledgeling blog was fantastic both in terms of support and comments. We will miss her greatly. I think I will still post an article that I planned to guest post on her site, in her honour: XX Ways to Save Water and Money in Your Kitchen Sink.

I liked her blog, and thought she had some interesting topics. Bummer, that's too bad for us who liked her blog but also for her in the sense that she seemed to be succeeding with it.

Its not a total shock, as I recall from an early post on her blog that alluded to her feeling bad about just up and quitting one or two previous blogs she started, and felt bad for the readers. Plus I thought she had like a 10-day gap in January with no posts.

Anyway, too bad she quit, she had a nice blog that I thought well of.
