Just a word of warning to people who are just visiting people blogs to inflate alexa....that may negatively affect search engine rankings.  The reason being is that user metrics are becoming more important to search engines.  So if they detect that people are visiting a site for a very short period of time and then going elsewhere, that could be a signal that the site isn't useful enough.

Good point. I go to each site and read one or two articles from the last week, search to see if there's something I can link to. Just opening the sites in your browser is a bad idea.

However, that does bring home how important it is to keep updating your blog. If I don't see any updated content, I don't stick around, so making sure you post at least one new article a week is essential.

So my goal (in addition to promoting my peeps at Team 5) is to visit every Yakezie member and challenger at least once a week. I don't always have a relevant comment, but I know that visiting is important in itself. I based my list on the google document that is in the pinned Official List of Yakezie Members and Challengers. However, I've noticed that a lot of the people I've interacted with, or people who have second blogs, may not have included themselves in this spreadsheet. Please update this as soon as possible so I can start visiting you!

 

Also, if this is something anyone else would like to do, I've divided it out so that it's under 45 blogs a day, six days a week and I'd be happy to send you my bookmarks.
