This prompted some interesting exchanges and comments with people from Positive Money UK which is a UK charity dedicated to educating people and finding solutions to the current global financial issues.  It has other but interesting proposals as well as having the ear of quite a few influential people.  From one of the comments and in an effort to expand the discussion I offered them a guest post on the issues, which they kindly accepted.
