% New Visits: 76.55%
My visits were up 32% from July.  My average visits was at around 7-8000 before the Google penalties though, so I've got a ways to go to get back to my former level of traffic.  Hopefully, Google will keep increasing the search traffic they send me.

I had a similar experience in January when the Consumerist picked up one of J.'s posts that mentioned me. That mention wound up getting me about 3% of all the traffic I've had to date.

Avg. Visit Duration: 2:50

Bounce Rate: 62.25

% New Visits:57.16%

 

A modest growth of 2% for visitors, but 10% growth of pageviews. Pages/visit up 7%. So I haven't really captured much new traffic but the traffic I'm getting is doing more.

 

For my food blog, my numbers just get better and better. Visitors up almost 20%! Traffic up an order of magnitude from this time last year.
