Thanks for the info Jeff.

If they have the link to the page where I embed the video, they still could forward that URL on to others though correct? I guess I'm just paranoid of people buying my course and then turning around and sharing all of the videos without my knowledge or consent.

If you make the videos private I think you can only see them.

Another option is to mark them unpublished. That way only people with the actual link or on a specific landing page where you've embedded them can they actually be seen.

I've done this for Welcome videos on my blog where I want people to see them on my blog, but no necessarily on YouTube.

Hi everyone,

I am working on creating an Ecourse and using Aweber for sending the emails out to subscribers on a scheduled basis. I want some of the emails to include video. I understand that most email providers won't allow for video's embedded and played in the email itself. I've read the Aweber knowledge base for how to get around this.

But here is my issue: I need to host the videos. My first thought it YouTube, but I don't want just anyone to be able to access them. I only want the Ecourse subscribers to be able to access them.

So, the question is:

Can I make videos private so that not just anyone can find them/watch them?
Is there a way to make sure those that do have access to videos can't forward them on to others? (Or am I just paranoid)
is it best to embed the video on a private page on my blog so people watch on my site as opposed to YouTube?
Is YouTube the best option for this?

I hope I explained this well enough. Any help is greatly appreciated!
