I would avoid W3. It was great at one point, but now it seems to cause more problems and conflicts than it fixes.

It could also be your host. My site was slow and I wasted countless hours trying to speed it up before I finally figured out I was on a bad shared server at Dreamhost. When I switched to Hostgator, my site was speedy again!

You can also run the P3 plugin profiler to see what is slowing down your load time most.

I would also take LinkWithin off the homepage and have it load on single posts only. That would help homepage load time a lot.

I ran a test for your site and it looks like you have a lot of heavy plugins and inefficient scripts running.
