Great advice Pauline - a very quick way to screen - thanks.

In case anyone else didn't know, you can also change the number of comments shown on the screen to 999 by going into screen options in the top right hand corner. This will save you a lot of time if screening the posts by avatar as Pauline suggests...

400-500/day? Oh my word...I'm only getting about a tenth of that so I'm still able to go through them rather quickly. I'm using the Antispam Bee plugin which has worked really well for me.

It was a lot of daily work I sure didn't want to do (manually reviewing page after page of comments).

I tried a plugin called Invisible Captcha. On top of using GASP and Bad Behaviour this plugin eliminated the spam comments. Problem seems to be solved.

Anyone know if I still need to use BB or GASP?
