Great to hear these numbers from other folks.. I have been wondering about that..

My wife and I blog together on See Debt Run, and between the two of us-- we probably put in 2 hours daily.

The site is almost 2 months old, and we range between 70-100 visitors daily.

Hopefully we will be up there in the Daisy/Aloysa range in a few months..

Of course, by then-- they may be in the GRS range.. :)

I started my blog about 6 weeks ago and now have about 50 visitors per day. I write on hubpages and tweet to increase traffic. I am still trying to figure all this out. Until today I didn't even know what a Twitter hashtag was. I got started blogging after I came across aselfsufficientlife.com. It inspired me to give blogging a try. The blogs of the members of this site look so much better than mine. I know that I have to work on the presentation of my site. I put about 3 hours per day into blog related activities. I am overwhelmed by all the stuff I need to learn, but try to learn one new thing about blogging per day and take it one day at a time.

Beginning a blog is one of the least satisfying experiences I have ever been a part of. That being said, the payout at the end is easily worth it. I always say that the beginning feels like you are "blogging into a blackhole" and that no one will ever read or find all this content you are putting so much work into. It will come, just keep plugging away. I probably spend about 1.5-2 hours a day on my blog doing the various activities commonly associated.

We started our blog in late January, and joined Yakezie a month later.

Currently we get about 30-50 viewers a day.

I spend about 3hrs/day writing, reading, commenting etc. I enjoy it, so it's definitely more of a hobby than a job - which is a good thing because we've made less than $4 from the blog!

I spend about two hours each day commenting on other blogs and writing the next day's posts. In my first month of blogging (September), I had 243 visitors for the entire month. In February I had 1543 visitors. I found that since I joined Yakezie and started commenting on more blogs, there has been a major jump in traffic. Creating good content is very important too, because it keeps people interested. I love your blog, and I know that you will be successful.

My new site is one month old today and I get around 20 - 30 views a day on average. All referral traffic and some direct. No SE traffic so far barring 5 or 6 (in a month) in total.

SE traffic gradually increases and what I have seen with OCAAT is, the SE traffic increases in time throttles.

3 months, 6 months, 1 year...don't know beyond this but I read Sam mentioning in the forum/blog that SE traffic gets a jump at 1.5 to 2 years stage.

So the blogs in infancy, have to rely on referral traffic alone, so keep on commenting, rounduping and carnivaling.

Thanks to those who visit my site ;-) by the way. It also helps me discover new blogs as I always visit other sites that comment on the thread.

I do not know how much time I spend on my blog. I would probably say about two hours, but this time is spent doing things that are enjoyable and I like to use my time like that.

I am getting around 50 on a good day and 25 on a not so good day. The strange thing I have noticed is my best traffic days are on the day or two after I post, not when I put a new one up. Does this happen to anyone else and are there any explanations?
