<p>Well it certainly wasn&#039;t domain aging, since I switched domains to a .com mid November. But aside from that, it&#039;s probable that most of it is organic growth over time. If I can point to any one thing, it would be when I hosted the Yakezie carnival. Looking at my graph, I can definately see when that happened, but after that temporary spike subsided, traffic started trending upward at a faster rate than it did earlier in the year.</p>

	<description><![CDATA[<p>I was looking for a particular stat for my blog this morning and stumbled upon something I can&#039;t believe that I hadn&#039;t caught earlier this month.</p>

<p>December I hit an all-time high for traffic on <em>Edward Antrobus</em>. That may not seem too impressive, since we all expect our traffic to be going up over time. But back in January 2012, I had a mention on <em>The Consumerist</em> that resulted in a huge, temporary spike in traffic. That week is still 3X higher than any other week I&#039;ve ever had. Heck it was 81X higher than the week before it.</p>
<p>But slow and steady wins the race, and December exceeded the monthly pageviews that I had from the previous January.</p>
