I'm not necessarily new to blogging, but I started a new blog and really want to break 200k in the 6 month period. Currently I'm at 5.6 million (long ways to go).

My plan is to write 2-4 posts a week- like suggested, and try and contribute to other blogs as a commenter, potentially guests posts, as well as share all the valuable information I find from other blogs (you know, promote others...). I really want to build this thing organically, and create a sound following. I don't want shortcuts, but I do want to expand quickly.

Are there any suggestions from the masses out there? Is writing and being involved enough or should I be looking for additional ways to break 200k?
