As it turns out, I had a custom structure setup for my permalinks that included /index.php/. I think I may have done that on someone's suggestion when I originally set up my blog. I have removed that portion of the permalink from my future posts. Thanks again!

Since you are still rather new, the impact will be minimal, but if you ever change your permalink structure, you should set up redirects from your old structure to the new one.

It's always good to have a higher number of views than visitors - that means that visitors are looking at more than one page/post before they leave. That will give you a lower bounce rate (the number of people who leave after only viewing the page they initially entered the site on).

Your number of visitors will increase as you get links from other blogs and as you start ranking in search results. However, keep in mind that your number of views and your bounce rate will be affected by more search traffic; people who come from search are more likely to leave quickly, usually by hitting the back button if what you've got isn't exactly what they were looking for.

To increase views, make sure you're writing great posts that make people want to read more. You might also consider a related posts plugin that will display a list of similar posts at the bottom - I've seen a big difference in my pageviews since I implemented that. Linking to your other posts within the body of your posts (which I see you already do) is beneficial as well.

One question - I noticed that all your links have /index.php/ between the domain and the post title - is there a reason for that? It looks kind of odd and might make visitors nervous even though it's not harmful in any way.

Hello everyone. In looking at my Wordpress stats, I have noticed a big gap between the number of visitors I get and the number of views I get (views are significantly higher). What is everyone's opinion about which of these numbers is more important? What is a good visitor/views ratio? Do you have any strategies for increasing either number? Thanks!
