I've plateaued (is that a verb?) right at 60,000 and I've been fluctuating +/- 500 around the 60,000 plateau for a month or two. Traffic remains steady, so no worries.

That is a great level to plateau at. Alexa registers traffic from people who have the alexa toolbar installed. So your site should continue to grow with non-toolbar traffic and search traffic, I'd focus more on Analytics than Alexa

Yeah we all plateau but they aren't permanent. The key is not to give up or focus too much on the rankings. You just gotta have fun with blogging and keep on going as long as it's something you enjoy. :)

I think everyone plateau's at that point. At least I did. I was around 120k-130k for 6 months or so. I just kept plugging away, writing great posts, finding new bloggers to interact with and writing a handful of guest posts. After those 6 months or so, I dropped very fast to where I am at today.

Ah, the inevitable plateau. We all get there, just at varying levels. As Squirrelers said, probably no need to worry too much about it after breaching 200K or 150K. Just keep up your writing consistency and building relationships. Are there blogs you haven't commented or visited before? Perhaps write a guest post once a month for those bloggers you've made relationships with.

I really wouldn't worry one more minute about it. Alexa ranking isn't really something that matters in the big picture. I'd focus on traffic, reader engagement, and networking with other bloggers.

Yes, I think it is normal. I was at 120K for over a year - suppose because after that I had to try a do things differently (a bit).

It will go down. Also, if your traffic is going up this is what really counts.

Hi everyone - advice needed...!

After a very fast (and probably overly cocksure) run from 220k when starting my Yakezie challenge down to 130k, I've since hit a bit of a plateau.

I've been bobbing up and down around 115k and 130k for the past two months, despite continual activity on comments, forums, etc etc.

Did you guys find that you hit a plateau at a similar level (or any other level)?
How did you get through this and push on?
What practical advice could you give me to get below 100k?
