I've written about freelancing since 2009, when I pursued it full time, and got a steady influx of emails from my readers about this. After a while I decided to write a book, which didn't happen. So I made it a course.

 

Thought it's better this way, since I can add new content easily, while editing a book that's close to publishing would be a pain.

 

Have done a lot of research and also wrote about everything I learned in the past 12 years (started freelancing part-time in 2004).

 

The course is made up of lessons (and chapters: introduction, planning - business plan, marketing plan, choosing a legal form, portfolio website - decrease bounce rate, increase conversions, lead magnets, landing pages, SEO, traffic, marketing - email marketing, social media, creating a strong brand etc., client work - handling problem clients, testimonials, revisions, productivity).

 

The course can be seen at http://earn.pftoday.com, it costs $300 to enroll, but it'd discounted to $50 until March 7th. Then each week the price increases $50 more.

 

Thought I'd mention it here, since we're all interested in personal finance and maybe some of you would like to know more about freelancing.

Hi, it's me again after few months. I still blog regularly but the forum kind of died. Just wanted to know the old and new yakezians. How everybody's been doing lately. Once this forum was as vibrant as a forum could be.

 

Curious to know about you all, about your blog, your job and family. 

 

For me, the blog income is steady and almost at the same level for past 2 years. Page views fluctuate within a fixed range. Waiting for an addition to the family in 2016 and got promoted at work. Overall, not complaining.
