The 6 month mark is a requirement. It's also necessary because it takes time to build up relationships with fellow bloggers and build your blogs rank within Google etc. It's a pretty good time period used to weed out those who are just passing by.

I've seen lots of challengers come and go since I started back in Feb.

But don't worry Niki you will make it!

You do have to wait until the 6 month mark. I started the challenge 6 months ago and just obtained membership, but I had my Alexa under 200k within a month of the challenge. It's really just a requirement to see the commitment new blogs have to the Yakezie and to blogging itself. I have to admit there was a point I almost stopped due to health and time constraints. As Sam has said in a previous post, once you see the private forums and interact with the other members themselves more often, everything becomes much clearer as to the requirements and the focus of the Yakezie.

Okay, I am sure this is covered somewhere in the forums, but I have been searching and can't seem to find a definitive answer.

I joined the Yakezie challenge in June and have made it past the 200,000 mark and am narrowing in on 100,000 (today I am at 107,063). My question is do I have to wait six months or did I just have to complete the task in six months in order to be up for a Member post?

I am also a little confused on the classes of membership, such as gamma and so forth.

Any help in clarifying would be appreciated, thank you.
