Thanks for the extra info, Andrea. I just submitted a ticket and tweeted it to them. Bobby mentioned that he couldn't comment on my blog yesterday.

Glad(?) To hear the problem isn't on my end. The weird thing is the sites that I've tried commenting on have comments on them!

It appears to be an issue with Hostgator - they tweeted that they're aware of the problem and working to fix it.

If you host with them, tweeting your support ticket # will get you escalated.

Like Michelle said it's happening to a lot of us. It seemed to be mainly Genesis sites, but I have run into a few that 404 that are not Genesis.

Yesterday I was having no diificulties, but today I cannot comment on any site that uses Wordpress comments. Which is pretty much all of the 20 or so sites that I comment on regularly. When I hit submit, I get a 404 page not found error.

I've tried clearing caches, restarting computers, and different browsers. Anyone have any clue what my problem could be?
