Sydney, Thanks for the input, I'll have to try it out. Maybe I'll just install it on a test domain first.

Also I don't think there's a way to view your analytics within Wordpress, you just control the plugin settings there. Right now I login to google.com/analytics and then if you go into Visitors --> Custom Variables, that's where you can see the customized data you selected in the plugin settings. It's pretty cool and I really should use it more

I have Google Analytics for Wordpress installed I just haven't take the time to really figure it out yet. My site speed seems to be ok. It's just the google+ buttons that take a while to load sometimes.

And I don't use Wordpress stats so I'm not sure if there are any conflicts between the two or not. Sorry not to be of more help!

Hey Guys, I usually rely on WordPress Stats and use the Google Analytics script which requires you to visit the Google Analytics sites to check out your stats.

Does anyone have experience using the Google Anayltics for WordPress plugin? My understanding is that it allows you to view your GA stats directly from WordPress. However, I'm hesitant to install anymore plugins or scripts which may slow down my site. I also don't want this to conflict with WordPress stats. Anyone have any positive or negative experiences using this plugin? Does it conflict with the regular WordPress Stats?
