but I guess that is just for top sites.

Marginal sites can get them too:

I think the key for sitelinks is to rank highly for a query (it's usually the top few results that get them... I searched 'dqydj.net' there) and hope your theme is easily readable by Google robots, haha. I like what they've got on the left, but the ones on the right are goofy choices, imo. Thanks for the hint on how to demote, TCI.

I was curious about that too. If you google Get Rich Slowly, they have six links neatly organized below the homepage, including contact and forum, but I guess that is just for top sites.

Those are called Sitelinks, and no, you can't say which ones you want.

You can, however, tell Google which ones you DON'T want. You simply go to Webmaster Tools -> Configuration -> Sitelinks. Then, put the URLs you want Google to demote.

It's not a guarantee, but it usually works.

This is going to sound like a really dumb question, especially since I'm not sure on all of the terminology...but here goes:

I want to know if somebody could help me change the results that appear under our website's name after performing a Google search for "Club Thrifty". Currently, it gives a link to the website, our description, etc. Under that, there are links to 6 stories. Can I determine what those links should feature? How do I do that if so?

I use Genesis/Prose theme and Wordpress SEO plugin by Yoast if that helps.

Thanks!
