make sure you have your wordpress database selected in phpMyAdmin. if you have multiple databases on your host, it won't be selected by default.

and phpMyAdmin usually throws off an error if there's something wrong with the MySQL statement. otherwise it displays a green checkmark with text along the lines of "1 row modified in 5ms" or something.

what kind of output are you getting? maybe a screenshot would help clarify?

You may have tried this already, but you might have to update your Thesis permissions first (through an FTP client). Check the settings here: http://diythemes.com/thesis/do.....s/upgrade/

I have sites on two different hosts. I ran the script on my other host and it seemed to work fine. On the host where I keep Narrow Bridge it did not do anything. Interesting...

Apparently I am missing some sort of DB access setting or something.

I've never used CPanel, but it's possible. I get to mine through Plesk, which is like CPanel. If you have a separate subdomain for your mysql server, I'd start by just typing that in your web browser's address bar. You'll need your mysql username and password (you can find that in your WP config file).

Mosts hosts have PHPMyAdmin installed, which will let you send SQL statements right to the database using a web interface. You can also do it from your server's linux/unix command line.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this: http://diythemes.com/thesis/rt.....to-thesis/

They make it sound really easy, but I don't even know where to start. Do I go into my DB admin interface and enter it somewhere? I have backups of my DB from the WP DB Backup plugin, so I am good to go on that front.

Thanks all.
