Hi Dustin!

Feel free to email me anytime with questions, but Andrea brings up a great point. Your first item of business should definitely be whether or not you even want to accept direct advertising like this. And if so, would you be interested in paid guest posts, incontent links, and/or sidebar links and banners? Once you know which ones you like, you can price it based on your PR, Domain Authority, and any other special stats. You can find your stats pretty easily at http://www.check-domains.com/w.....alyzer.php

Good luck!

Even though your site may not be generating a ton of traffic now, I'm sure your goal is that someday it will, right?

So why not take some time to put together an "advertising plan". What I mean is, simply determine what sorts of income you are willing to accept if you receive solicitations... for paid posts, banner advertising, specific campaigns, etc. and what you will charge. And, also determine what you will not accept... solicitations for paid links or whatever else might just not be up your alley.

You can search other websites... sometimes they have listed right on the site what they charge. Here's an example: http://advertising.yourway.net.....r-way/ (although not PF, it's a good example).

At some point, you will need to adjust your prices... since your traffic will grow and your value will increase. And you will continually add new ways to generate income. I don't recommend posting it all on your site like in the example, but having it somewhere is important.

It doesn't have to take days and days to create. Sit down for 45 minutes, focus and getter' done.

Sometimes sponsored posts are written by you, but often they are written by the sponsor. They are basically paid guest posts.

As far as pricing is concerned, your best bet would be to talk to Crystal from Budgeting in the Fun Stuff, as she's the advertising expert. One post that may help you is: http://howimakemoneyblogging.c.....s-to-take/

Quick disclosure - I DID search the forum before posting this question but could not really find my answer. With that being said, I apologize if it has been asked elsewhere (and I am sure it has)....

I received an email asking me whether or not I accept sponsored posts. To be honest, I really do not even know what that really means. Does that mean that I write a post, similar to a review, or that the 'sponsor' writes the post? Furthermore, with a site that receives little, to no, traffic yet, how would I even price that fairly?

Would I be better served focusing on content for a few months before even worrying about this? I, of course, do not want to burn any bridges with a potential advertiser in the future., thus my question(s).

Thanks in advance...
