so, if I visit logged out or logged in, the effect is the same.  If i log in from a different computer, tons of stuff is unread.

 

Basically, it is downright broken which is unfortunate since it'd be a great feature to have.  In all honesty, I dislike whatever is driving this forum.  My built-in firefox spell checker doesn't work in this edit box and I've never seen that before.  Surprised

I logged in for a few seconds yesterday but didn't read anything in the forum. Then today I only had 15 unread topics. Since I haven't read anything since Saturday, I am shocked that the number is so low.

I guess it automatically marks all topics as read sometime after logging in? Would there be a way to change that? I didn't see anything in the options :(
