Sometimes it takes a bit of searching though to find just what I'm looking for.

Question - for attribution when using Flickr photos, is it enough to just put Source: Flickr Username in the photo caption, or should I be putting in a link back to the person's Flickr account?

I get my images and photos in some websites that offer free download, some you have to make a link back to their site while others are ok to have none. Here are some of those sites: http://stockvault.net/, http://www.freedigitalphotos.net/ and http://www.sxc.hu/

I've thought about buying photoshop, but I haven't yet.  That might be a good solutions because I have tons of pictures.  It might be fun learning to manipulate different pictures.  Thanks for the suggestion! Laugh

If you don't have the budget for photoshop check out the Creative Kit in Google+. It's free and you can do some pretty cool photo editing (change the exposure, size, add text, etc.) and is super easy to use.

I've used MS Paint to do a couple of things or to edit a picture, but I'm not very artistic.  I'm better at numbers and such. Wink

I get a lot of images from DepositPhotos. There's a wide selection of high quality images for only $0.50. 

 

You should also check out the Wikipedia page of Public Domain Image Resources.

 

For photo credit, I'll either add the photo credit to the caption on the image or at the bottom of the blog post. It doesn't get much more complicated than adding a line like "Photo by John Smith". Remember to make sure you follow the attribution requirements of the image's owner such as linking back to their website. 

Oh, those are good suggestions.  I think I will use some free ones first to get pictures for my post tomorrow.  I'll let you know how it works out.  Thanks for your help!
