Embarassed

Use them both like BITFS. I backup on Hostgator as well but the WP Database Backup saves some files that the hosting provider may not.

With the database plugin you can set it to email you a copy of your database every day.  This way should something ever happen to your host you still have your database (assuming your email isn't tied to your host).
