It allows one to restrict feeds to registered users only.

Not entirely sure but my guess would be that on the Yakezie Network list our latest posts are displayed. Perhaps this "key" pulls in the latest article written by members - and is added to all that join the forum.

Can you elaborate on what you mean by feed key? Yakezie feed is asking for a password or something? Or is there a field somewhere in Yakezie profile to enter your feed and you are askign about that?
