I tend to notice a slowdown on the weekends, especially Sunday...perhaps it's just a coincidence, but I kept timing out yesterday whenever I tried to drill into a thread.

My Gravatar has been off for a few days too but is back up today and speed has been fine today. Maybe things are all better now....

The Gravatars seem to come and go for me, but the forums are VERY slow. Reminds me of the dialup days - I open the threads I want to read in tabs, then go do something else for awhile while I wait for them to load. My responses time out quite a bit as well. :(
