I didn't win my suit, but did win on the counter-suit. I would do some serious research on the laws and gather a ton of evidence to prove your case. Be very direct in court and prove beyond any doubt that you are correct in the eyes of the law.

Many small claims suits do not allow lawyers (and it is not worth the cost, which can be more than the suit). If you are friends with any lawyers, couldn't help to ask them for direction.

I have filed suits against several different companies in small claims court, but personally have never been sued myself.
