Interesting reading people's situations... I'm 26- net worth about 150,000, and am apparently a bread of a few types here:

Living the Lifestyle – Bloggers who haven't been in debt and can explain how they've stayed in the black
Lifestyle Bloggers – Staying out of debt while pursuing a dream to travel or otherwise pursue a non 9-5 career
Wildcard Bloggers (I toss myself in this category) – Big picture topics (politics, economics) intermixed withpersonal finance advice. Not so much of the personal connection.
Early Retirement Bloggers – On the path to freedom at impressively low ages (or related: those who have retired but continue to blog)
Frugality Bloggers – How can you escape a common situation with the most money intact?

My blog is more personal insights about how I save money (as someone extremely frugal), my thoughts about investing from a very non traditional standpoint, how my cash-flow exceeds my expenses (semi retired concept), and some economic/political discussion.

My blog is still pretty new, so I'm still finding that direction....

My son is in the $10,000-$100,000 range. I like to blog about how I'm teaching my kids to manage money. I guess that would create a new category... Perhaps Financial Blog Teacher or money teacher?

I'm in the Lifestyle Blogger category (just crossed over)... actually I'm a bit of all of the categories except debt (unless you include my prior mortgage).

I am 29 and my net worth is almost $1000.00 with a little under $10K of student loan debt, which is my only debt. I rent and do not own a vehicle. Onward and upward!

Negative here. Mostly because I thought the housing market had bottomed out a few years back when we purchased our first home. My crystal ball must have had some dust on it... ;)

Sadly mine is negative and I really do need to start tracking it better. Part of the problem with that is I have a separate accounting of our debts but we combined savings so I'm thinking to track our net worth as a couple together and go from there.

My content falls into a lot of those categories, but my blog was born because I'm a reformed debt blogger. Now, my preferred focus is more along the lines of a lifestyle blogger, but I'm still working to introduce more of that type of content.

Net worth used to be negative $27K five years ago. Now, it's positive $120K. It's amazing what you can do when you put your mind to it

Right now, I'm a lifestyle blogger because I'm still in university and I'm mainly trying to keep my student loans as low as possible... but as soon as I graduate I'll go into attack the debt mode. My net worth is negative... and will only get even more negative-r for the next two years.

Sadly mywife and I are negative, we both just finished up our masters degrees and she just got a job in february. We have a long road ahead of us towards debt repayment. We are hoping our rental property and both our jobs will move us to 0 and positive as quickly as possible. One of the reasons I started the blog was to be honest about our finances!
