I've never flown with my dog, but I will say that it seems like boarding is expensive for you - it's ~7/day around here. I'd give it a whirl. Even if it sucks, you will know for sure never to do it again.

Hi FrugalBeautiful!

I flew with my cat from Florida to Houston...and with a layover. She spent 7 hours in the Sherpa (yes...I bought my cat a sherpa:)) and was perfectly fine. I put her under the seat in front of me.

Haha, he's on a diet. I adopted him in February and he's 7 so I have YEARS of bad eating habits to correct. He's doing much better now but still is a big-boned pug :)
