If it is, you can charge for a sponsored post or decide not to publish. Many "bloggers" approach me in disguise when they are really trying to make money by selling links, I refuse their posts, but accept sponsored posts from marketing agencies, and welcome guest posts from other PF bloggers.

Try writing up some posts of your own for other bloggers John. It can be a good opportunity to build your reputation with other PF bloggers. This way you could get them asking to write posts for your site :)

Overall, it seems to be a good thing. I'd just recommend that you put on the page that you only accept guest posts from other PF bloggers, otherwise you get a lot of emails from commercial sites too.

I'm looking for a bit of advice really. I've been thinking of adding a "Write For Us" section on my website. Is this something which people do later on once their website is below 200,000 Alexa rank? 

 

I'm trying to get my blog below 200,000 to complete the Alexa challenge and I presume, from the reading I've done, that writing on other blogs helps? It would be great to be able to write on some different blogs and offer people the chance to write on mine.

 

This might seem like a stupid question, but is that the best way to "do it"?
