that said, i think it matters based on your audience and the type of post.  for example, if you are posting on the bible and money, sunday morning or afternoon (after church) is usually a good time.

I guess I think in terms of my own blogging reading.  Most blogs I read post approximately once every other day or so, so I usually check them in the evenings every other day.  The time that they post will not matter to me.

That's probably not a good idea since it would grow to be huge in a few days! Right now there are 4 bloggers who I send DM's to on Twitter when I post a new article and they help me to promote it on Reddit, Tip'd, and Stumble Upon. Just think of how great it would be if a good amount of Yakezie members did that for each other!

However, since there are so many of us, how in the world could we pull that off.

I know someone might say, just promote the article when you read it, but for me I go through cycles with my RSS reader. Meaning I'll start from A and work my way down to Z - it takes me over a week to get through the Yakezie blogs (who are also adding new stuff all the time)! So, it's better for someone to send me a message on Twitter asking for help promoting an article.

Does anyone have any sugestions?

I get around 25 visits per day from it but I just recently started and for me that's about 20% of my traffic. I have noticed a better turn out from reddit with around 40 visits a day. This is all from google analytics. Statcounter shows it being more so I really don't know the exact number. But for me that's a lot.
 

I am not sure which analytic system is best, but would suggest that you use the same one. That is the best way to follow your results, you know? Kind of like Alexa, it may not be the best it could be, but it is a consistent metric to follow and track your site with.

But from a personal perspective, I don't often stop to check out the many blog posts in the morning. I'd read them later in the day and usually comment and promote them when I get home.

With Google Analytics, you can see what are the time of the day that you get the most traffic and use that information to optimize your post schedule.

I am aiming at the business and real estate investment crowd that seems to get to work early and are looking for something interesting to read before they actually start their work day.
