credit cards are tough. You need a lot of volume to stay in their programs. I did one with Citibank for a bit but got booted out because I wasn't generating enough leads.

I've registered with LinkOffers.com and applied to be an affiliate for some of their credit cards, but so far I haven't heard anything back. I might try to email them and see what they have to say about it.

I'm signed up with affiliatewindow, which has specific credit card affiliate links and also links to credit card comparison sites (comparethemarket in the UK). I'm not sure if affiliatewindow is UK focused, but I'm sure the same exists in the US.

First Million is the Hardest said:

My experience & what I've been told by my affiliate manager is that unless you can be sending the credit card companies thousands in conversions they're not going to give you the time of day. It seems that the Discover it card and the Barclay travel card are easy to get approved for as I & just about every other blogger I've seen are able to promote them. But beyond that it's gonna be real hard to be a card affiliate.

There are plenty of other companies and products in the finance world to become an affiliate of, find one or two that you really like and concentrate on them. That's what I've had the most success with so far.

Good luck!

Thanks for the heads up, Jay!
I actually spoke to the affiliate manager I'm working with at CreditCards.com and he basically said the same thing. Additionally, it seems that the banks/credit card companies are cracking down on bloggers who are recommending their cards.

Thanks for the advice - we will certainly make the best of the situation :-)

Hi Everyone!

My husband and I are very much enjoying the Challenge and getting to know everybody.
We're excited to collaborate with you

One of the things that we are having issues with is our monetization strategy - I don't know if anyone can help in this regard but I thought I'd throw it out there anyway.

So we were signed up with CreditCards.com's banner program up until they closed it down at the end of last week.
I thought we were fine going with this strategy until we have enough traffic to get the direct CC links. But now that they have closed it down and don't know if it's ever going to go back on, we're a little out on the lurch here.

Does anyone else have any ideas of any Credit Card Affiliates we can look into?

Thanks so much in advance!
