My summer started off slow, but August has been beyond awesome so I hope this is a trend to continue! Also, I believe the slow start to summer was more because some issues dealing with the illness and death of a family member had me pretty tied up and able to devote less time to the site. If things perk up even more in the fall then I can't wait! And I suspect my niche - frugality - will see an even bigger burst after Christmas when people start getting their credit card bills from the Holidays.

My summer was pretty average for me. I usually do see an uptick in traffic in the Fall so I'm looking forward to that.

I know! That is how I feel, my blog has seen it's best traffic this summer. I can't wait for the fall, if it's suppose to get better.

My site got crushed in the SERP's recently, not sure whether it was Panda or because I did something to the site. I still have my PR though which is odd.

I installed the Facebook meta stuff on the site about 4 days before it crashed but I dont know if thats it... ive heard it can happen w/ that for some reason.

Whatever it is... ARGH!!!

My traffic has been pretty steady lately. Hopefully I'll start to see a step upward by the end of the quarter. My alexa's doing a lot better, just haven't seen a parallel increase in pageviews yet.

My blog is still young as well, so I have had an increase in visitors despite the summer months...but I wonder if my increase would be greater during the fall months.

Tony, that is a very impressive amount of visitors. Im finally averaging about 100 visitors a day and it took me 6 months to get there.

I guess it's just my blog's niche. Most investors tend to go away in August. Oh well. Can't wait for september! I'm relatively new to blogging. Is it really true from your past experiences that traffic increases in september?

It's been a normal week for my site, particularly for visitors from search.

Had a link at lifehacker that brought a fair amount of incremental traffic on top of that. But traffic from search has been normal.

As a Google user the panda update has been horrible. All the sites with keywords in the url are ranking high now, inspite of Google claiming to not count that in their ranking.

Btw, GA had some changes too this week - http://analytics.blogspot.com/.....ytics.html esp. if you have ecommerce site and signed up for multi channel funnel, there will be more data. I wish there is something like this for the affiliate marketing too.

To not go off topic, traffic has not been down for me. Its been the same. Tony you said you are up to 250 PV per day now in the other post. That is really great for a young blog...
