Ummm...maybe it's a personal problem for both of us then, lol.  I knew it was becoming an issue when I told my parents not to visit me after work because I had blog email to check between 5-7pm, lol.  I am trying to tone it back now but it is so very addictive!  I want to see what people are saying, asking, offering, needing...my mind loves the speed and communication...yep, I'm an addict - and loving it!  :-)

I learned a lot over my first year of blogging. Traffic didn't increase dramatically but it did help me with Google. I started to get more organic traffic. Plus it helps build your authority with other sites. They know that your blog has been around for awhile. Congratulations!

I have been blogging about 9 months now, and I am happy with where I am at I suppose.  (I didn't know what to expect, so no need to get upset!)

Anyway, I have read in many places that the first year is tough blogging, and then things just seem to take off.  Is this true?  Is it just that you have more posts so you get more search engine traffic?  Is there something magical about the first year, or is it just a generalization? 

(Maybe Google will have updated their page rank by my one year anniversary??)

Thoughts from anyone?
