Yes I put my title in all caps. And yes I am unapologetic about it…

You see, I just read something really GREAT to help you grow your blog, but YOU really need to read it yourself to absorb it…

I love it when experienced bloggers get mad enough to write a rant post that actually contains awesome advice! You don't see these too often and when you do, you better link love the heck out of it cause every blogger needs to be reading it.

At the very least you need to read it. It being… Everett Bogue's post entitled "

HOW TO CREATE AN A-LIST MINIMALISM BLOG IN LESS THAN 6-MONTHS

Yeah a big copy and paste!

I've been doing this blog thing for about 7 years now and this guy summed everything I know up better then I think I ever could and has the experience to show for it.

So please read it and tell me what you think.

Cheers,

Jeremy Wink

I guess I wasn't as excited about it as you were.  He lost me with a few things, but the biggest is definitely the "don't admit your mistakes" thing.  I know I shouldn't write about how much I suck every day, but we all make mistakes and some of my most popular posts have mine in them.  I love his advice about building an inner circle though.  :-)

I like the fact that he mentioned how important it is to link to other sites. Having at least 5 outbound links in each post is something that I may shoot for.

The inner circle is a great idea as well!

I don't know if I agree with him about not admitting your mistakes. But I guess it depends on what field you're writing for.

Thanks for the link.

Thanks for sharing this!  He had some great points that we could all use for sure.  Some were a little dramatic (I guess I'm not suited to be an extreme minimalist) but overall a good post.

I agree Khaleef – the inner circle and promoting others is a great idea (and a central part of Yakezie)

I agree with Crystal. I think that his advice only works for certain personas.

I'm with the rest of the group. There were some nuggets in there, but it's not life changing advice in my opnion.

Interesting read. I like the inner circle idea for sure.
