Do you write about debt reduction?

Hope this isn't out of line … still trying to figure out where stuff goes here.

Anyway, I've managed a blog carnival called the Carnival of Debt Reduction for several years.

It had been listed over at BlogCarnival.com but while it was there it devolved into a poor substitute for the Carnival of Personal Finance.  A preponderance of services that submitted posts to BlogCarnival.com automatically didn't help matters.

The junk ratio got very high, so I took the submission form off of there, and put it on the main carnival website.

Now, though, I have the opposite problem.  The carnival is more of a well-kept secret, and some bloggers stopped submitting any posts to the carnival after I demanded that — of all things — the posts be about debt reduction.

Long introduction, but if you write posts about debt reduction, I'd love to have you submit them to the carnival.  Free backlinks and all that.

I'll try to keep it in mind when I write about debt reduction.  If I ran a carnival with such a specific niche and got sick of spam, I'd probably post reminders on forums like this every month or so since I know it's hard for people like me to remember to branch out.

I usually just submit to Best of Money Carnival, Carnival of Personal Finance, Carnival of Money Stories, and Festival of Frugality unless reminders like this pop up at the same time I have a post they would want…so thanks for the reminder and I will really try to remember!

I have written quite a bit about debt reduction. I'll keep this in mind. Like Crystal said, maybe a reminder (or at least a bump in this thread) will help a lot!

Thanks!

I definitely will be writing more about debt reduction now that I'm moving into that stage of my journey. Thanks for the reminder… I actually had no idea that carnival existed!

Hmmm… I'm not sure how this works but if you're just looking for some resources, I've written a few posts on debt reduction.

Here's how it works.  If you've written a post about debt reduction over the past couple of weeks, submit it to the carnival.  There's a link on http://www.carnivalofdebtreduction.com for this.  The host will consider your post for inclusion in the carnival (more or less a link roundup on the debt reduction posts submitted the previous week).  If you get a link, congratulations.  Please link back.  You get traffic and a backlink.
