Introducing My Tenant From Hell

Hi all!  Some of you might already follow my saga on my regular blog regarding my tenant from hell.  There is an update there today, in fact! Anyway, one particular post on my tenant got to the 1st page on google for the search term "tenant from hell" within 2 weeks.  It got me thinking, I must have hit a nerve, so why not create a new blog where we can all share stories?

So, today is my soft launch for http://mytenantfromhell.com

If you have a story that you'd like to share, please feel free to register and share your own story.  Betty from Control Your Cash was kind enough to give me an old post and I am perfectly fine republishing any of your old ones as well.

I registed the domain over the holiday break in December and it leapfrogged my post to hit page 1 on Google for the search term so far.  I still have more content to add, but again, I need your stories more than anything else.

Thanks Yakezie!

Sandy

Woot!  Congrats on the new site!  Are there any specific key words you'd like me to use if/when I link to it or would the title be fine?

Quick FYI:  The "Post Your Own Story" says "Post Own Your Story".  :-)

I'll post our wonderful story about the last guy who rented out our guest bedroom…

Anyway, congrats!  I've linked to "Tenant From Hell" on my left sidebar to help.  Good luck!

Do you accept "tenant from Heck" stories? My tenants are not that bad yet since they just came in, but even so….

Sounds like they have hellish potential.  Why the heck not?!  Bring it on.

For those of you reluctant to post, the search phrase "tenant from hell" nets me roughly 20% of blog visits.  If this site is linking to you, traffic might follow you back to your site. Cross fingers.

Oh wow. I'm scared to read these hahaha as I'm also new to the landlord business. But I have some buddies that I'll definitely share this with. Do they have some stories…Chicago is the worst place to rent and expect tenants to behave like adults. You receive no assistance from the authories until the problem as spiraled out of control!

When I bought my first house I rented the den in the basement out (seperate bath) and we shared laundry and kitchen.  It helped pay the mortgage but dang renting was a PITA.  When I find time i'll write a post up about it.  We may come off petty but our tenant just didn't get it.

@debtfreedivas   Sounds like my kind of people!!!!  Please, please have them submit stories.  I plan on publishing 1 story a week and I have Crystall from BITFS signed up for this Monday's post and a republished from Girl with The Red Balloon for the following week, but if I get more stories, I would publish 2x a week.

@Sustainable   Sounds like at least one story in there somewhere.  Doesn't have to be long.
