As most of you members know, the time for FINCON12 is coming fast. Won't you vote for your favorite financial bloggers for the Oscars of personal finance? Okay, that's a bit much, but it's an award, and it feels good to be a finalist and have your peers recognize you for your work.

Funny note, Sandy. It seems like the award categories are much different this year. Sadly, it doesn't look like there's one that really fits our blog. That won't stop me from voting, though! Can't wait for the show, either.

I'll be voting but am done with competing myself – even top athletes need recovery time (particualrly after the bruising I am getting at the PF Ollympics final; but it was worth is and great fun). Next year again.

I voted. The new voting is kind of confusing, I wasn't always sure which blogs to put in which categories. With this voting system a blog could receive a thousand votes spread out over several categories and not receive an award while a blog with less votes but all in one category would get an award. I suppose that is their reward for having their blog fit a category.
