Business Analyst (IT), Provincial Government (Ministry of Natural Resources – it's not as "green" as you might think – think fishing, aggregates, forestry, provincial parks, game officers, flood management, fisheries).  Mrs. SPF is an Information Management Specialist @ the same place.  She wanted to do policy out of school but found her niche.

Well, we're not exactly the Ministry of the Environment – I think that would be more fitting.  But MNR does deal with managing resources in a sustainable manner.  E.G. the Deer hunt – only kill as many as the biologists think need to be culled.  Or forestry, only chop down as many trees as can be spared when contrasted to the re-harvestation efforts have replaced.  I guess in a way like our site – we do what we can as long as it makes sense for our financial plan.

I am a stay at home mom to three boys, one has severe medical issues. However, my last job was in the corporate tax department for one of the big 4 accounting firms. Thus, I worked on the tax returns for the firm.

I'm work in supply management for a large company – mainly with pricing and systems. I actually like it much more than any other job I've had, but it's not super glamorous…or easy to explain. :)

Ah, another grad student, and working in a chemistry related field to boot!  I'm a biochemistry grad student going for my Masters, doing research on the (possible) link between damage to a particular protein and the formation of cataracts.  (In between attending classes and trying to keep freshmen from blowing themselves up.)  Not quite what you normally think of when you hear the phrase 'personal finance blogger', but hey, it takes all kinds. I've had lots of different jobs but right now I'm making my living from blogging and mystery shopping.  As long as I'm making enough to pay the bills I don't plan on getting a job.

How are you liking Mystery Shopping? I have always been curious about it.

What kind of products or stores do you shop at?
